![]() sis@teacupandtinypaws.com We are not a large kennel. We are siblings who each have our own dogs and puppies and are selling them from this shared site. Our mom’s puppies will also grace our pages every so often. On a few occasions we will let some of our friends list their pups and because we know that they are reputibale breeders we will back their pups with our guarantee. We are hobby breeders and stay at home moms. We do this because we love puppies (and that puppy breath smell!) and also because it allows for us to stay at home with our children. This benefits you as all of our puppies will be well acclimated to children, other dogs, pups and loud noises. I doubt any of our puppies will shutter at a sudden shriek, crying, obnoxious laughter or the sound of a plate breaking on the floor! Most of our teacup pups will not leave before they are 12 weeks old. When you figure that you could be with this little one for the next 10-15 years, it’s only fair that they get to spend as much time with their mom and littermates as possible. We let our pups go only once we see that they consistently have been healthy. And since we price many of our pups by their weight at maturity, you’ll get a more accurate estimate than a breeder selling puppies at 6 weeks old. We like to double their weight at 12 weeks, note the parent’s weight and see how much they’ve been gaining weekly. We give our best estimate, but please know that we can’t guarantee a specific weight. Puppies can be just like children... same parents and one can stop growing at 15 and the other can just be getting started at 15. Buying a teacup at 8 weeks old simply doesn’t give time to chart their growth patterns. We have a few litters of Teacup and Tiny Toy Poodle puppies a year. These are the ones that started our breeding programs and will always have a special place in our hearts. All of our Teacup and Tiny Toy Mama's insist on having their pups in our laps! Our pups are bred from small dams and sires, most under 4 lbs. They are all regitered with AKC and some dual with APRI, but full registration is not always offered, for the safety of the real tiny ones. Our Teacup and Tiny Toy Poodles have very petite faces and are tall, slim and sturdy, not short and wide. We specialize in rare Parti's, Silver and Black Phantom's, Ice Whites and Chocolates. Our Teacup and Tiny Toy Poodles puppies are not runts, but come from teacup lines, such as Velvet Touch and Cindy's Poodles. Almost all of our adults are AKC registered, but we do not register all our litters with AKC. We do this on purpose to give families on a budget an opportunity to by a purebred dog at a reasonable price. We like the fact that AKC holds breeders accountable with DNA testing, but we are alarmed with horrible puppy mills who have deplorable dams and sires who are also AKC dogs. We feel that AKC does not guarantee a better blood line than one of the other registries. Because most of our puppies are going to family homes, we've decided to cut your prices by registering with pet clubs like APRI and ACA that charge a fraction of what AKC does. We are not anti-AKC. If you would like to show your dog, then it is a wonderful club to be a part of. ![]() sis@teacupandtinypaws.com |
